Cooldown your cold sore by applying ice. It will reduce swelling and eliminate redness.
Sweet Vanilla
Can you imagine that vanilla’s mild alcohol content can dry the cold sore without irritating it? Well, now you know it. Get some and apply it to your cold sore.
Peppermint Oil
Peppermint has antiviral properties and is soothing to the skin. Also, if you don’t like the smell of garlic, this is a better option you can use.
Again, it is easy to find it in shops, so use it.
Tea Tree Oil
This oil is an old remedy for acne, but it can help you with cold sores too. Apply some on the affected area and don’t wipe it away, although it may sting a bit.
Aloe Vera Cream
This is a brilliant solution that I advise you to use. I use it all the time and it is my brother who has introduced me to it.
It is guaranteed to make wonders. I do not even feel the sore cold when I apply this cream.
Aloe vera is the best solution that has worked for me.
