High blood pressure is a modern disease that is related to stress, lack of sleep, obesity, smoking, alcohol abuse and consuming too much salty food. However, even if you’re healthy, you might suffer from hypertension at some point in your life.
Our muscles are strained too much when we’re under physical or emotional stress, while our blood vessels constrict at the same time. This results in increased blood pressure, a condition that can only be relieved by relaxing the blood vessels and muscles.
But, how can we do this? Luckily, Lu Huns, a doctor of the Spartak Moscow football club, came up with some interesting tips that will reduce your blood pressure in just 5 minutes. Here’s what you need to do:
Point #1
Pamper the line behind the earlobe to the middle of the crevice slowly with your fingers from the top to the bottom. Repeat the process 10 times per side and your blood pressure should quickly drop.
Point #2
This point lies on your face and is located at earlobe height about half a centimeter from the ears in the direction towards the nose. Massage it with your fingertips for about a minute from each side – you need to feel pressure, but it shouldn’t hurt.
Dr. Huns says that proper blood flow to the muscles and tissues is vital for normal blood pressure. If there’s something obstructing it, it will lead to high blood pressure. Massaging the points will ensure that you have proper blood flow and will restore your normal blood pressure.
