Egg’s shell is an excellent natural source of many essential minerals needed for our overall health. It contains 90% calcium, which is easily absorbed by our body. Our body absorbs the calcium easily because it is almost identical to a human’s teeth and bones.

If you consume calcium regularly, in vital amounts, it will get rid of calcium-symptoms and prevent osteoporosis’ development. High intake of calcium also stimulates the bone marrow in producing blood cells thus treating high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels.

Eggshells are recommended by many experts as an essential natural calcium supplement which is very effective. They recommend a dose of 1.5 to 3 grams of crushed shells daily intake.

Here are some simple tips on how to use eggshells and what to use them for:

  1. Cleansing the blood and strengthening the organism

All you need is 5 eggshells and 3 liters of water. Wash those eggshells carefully, crush them well and put in the water. Put this mixture in the refrigerator and keep in it for 7 days. After 7 days you should start using it as drinking water. Add some lemon juice if you want a better flavor. Drink two to three glasses of this mixture every day.

  1. Thyroid gland

First, take 8 eggshells and 2 lemons. Wash the shells carefully and crush them well. Squeeze the lemons and the lemon juice over the crushed shells. Let this mixture stay in the refrigerator for a few days. When you notice that the shells become soft strain the liquid out of them. Mix the strained liquid with 1 liter of schnapps and 1 kg of honey. This mixture should stand still for 7 days before its usage. When prepared, take one teaspoon 2 to 4 times a day after meals.

  1. Gastritis, ulcer

Take a small amount of eggshells, wash them carefully and crush them well. Take a cooking knife and pick some of the crushed shells using its tip. Add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice to the crushed shells, and wait until they soften. When they become soft enough, add 1 deciliter of hot milk. You must consume this mixture on an empty stomach, 2 times a day – after waking up in the morning, and before sleeping in the evening.
